Tune PHP for ownCloud Large File Uploads

These settings will help tune PHP for ownCloud large file uploads. The first is for NGINX 1.6.2 with php5-fpm installed. The second version is for Apache2. Edit php.ini and change the values to match the ones listed below. NGINX NOTE: If “default_charset” is missing from your config file, add the line to the end of the [PHP] section.

For NGINX with php5-fpm on Ubuntu 14.04, php.ini is probably located in the following path:

upload_max_filesize = 10G
post_max_size =10G
output_buffering = 0
max_input_time = 54000
memory_limit = 128M
default_charset = “utf-8″
always_populate_raw_post_data = -1

Then, execute the following after editing php.ini:

 

For Apache2 with php on Ubuntu 14.04, php.ini is probably located in the following path:

post_max_size =10G

memory_limit = 128M
